Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Breakfast Wine Club, Dubai, UAE, is the controller of your personal data under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL).
2. What we collect
Account details (name, email, date of birth for the 21+ requirement), your membership and billing status, event bookings and attendance, wine ratings and palate-quiz answers, referral activity, and technical logs needed to run the service.
3. Why we use it
To provide your membership (contract): bookings, credits, certificates, member content. To personalise wine recommendations from your ratings. To send service emails (bookings, waitlist offers, billing). Marketing messages only with your consent — opt out any time.
4. Who processes it
Payment processing by Stripe (we never store card numbers), email delivery by our email provider, and Instagram content via Meta's APIs. Data is hosted on our own European servers; processors may process data outside the UAE under appropriate safeguards.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct, export or delete your data. Use the Download my data and Delete my account options on your membership page, or contact us. Deleting your account anonymises your personal details; certificates you earned remain valid.
6. Retention
We keep data while your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
